Thanks to DFT and the guys at XDA Develpoers the HD2 users finally have windows phone 7, well most of it. By this method you will not be able to use your SD card while running windows 7 and also after reverting back to windows 6.5, but you can format it using a partition software.
Installing Windows 7 on HD2:
Requirements:
Radio which supports 576 RAM
Install ROMUpdateUtility.exe
HardSPL
LEO70 Rom
HTC HD2

Procedure:
Make sure that your phone has HardSPlDownload the above .zip file and then unzip it at a place where you can use it easilyFirst open MAGLDR 1.12 folder and then run Romupdateutility.exe and then follow the prompts which will reboot your HD2 and then will show the MAGLDR screen where you have to select option 5 by pressing volume down button and then selecting call button to select the 5th option which is USb FlasherThen on the PC go to the LEO70_rom folder and then run DWI and follow the prompts.Wait for sometime and Wndows Phone 7 will loadHere is a demo video of this hack in action

The SD card does not work after using it with windows phone 7 you have to use partition software to format it

How to Hard reset: While booting press Volume down + Volume up button as soon as you see 1234 on the screen.

Install Zune.Make partnership with zune and Phone.Copy this URL : “http://cr-developers.co.cc/cwp7.cer” in the phone browser and install it on your phone.With Zune running in the background connet the phone to the PCRun the unlocker ChevronWP7.exe and then pres unlock.Install toms .xap installer (Found inside the toolkit)run connection setup.xap and touch xplorer.xapand then run XMODDeployer.xapcopy .provxml from windows ringtones folder to windows folderRun connection setup to install .provxmlContact Microsoft help desk and then ask for activation key for HD2Setup Lice Id and enter the activation code
