Microsoft has injected another boost of confidence with their Windows Phone 7 platform by releasing the full version of its “Windows Phone 7 Connector” for the Mac.

Previously available in Beta form with the last release in December, the software enables you to sync your favorite multimedia content (i.e music, photos, videos) from iTunes to your Windows Phone 7 device via a Mac. And the best bit is you don’t have to launch boot camp to run it either (boot camp allows you to run Windows software on your Mac at native speeds).

The software also allows you to sync music to a Zune HD, but only unprotected content can be synced between your devices. On the plus side you will at least be able to perform Windows Phone 7 firmware updates (though we would still prefer the ability to sync DRM content over this feature any day).

You can get the software now via the Mac App Store.

Note: You will need a Mac computer running Mac OS X version 10.6.6 or later to utilize the software.
