Sony Ericsson has finally made the XPERIA Play official through a creepy Super Bowl commercial. The presentation is still scheduled for 13 February, but now you finally know what to expect then. Oh, wait...
We've already lost count of the XPERIA Play leaks, pictures, videos, previews, benchmarks, etc. Sony Ericsson did the right thing teasing with the Super Bowl ad and making the XPERIA Play somewhat official. Really, it was about time.

The ad itself turned out to be an extended version of the same creepy one leaked a few days ago.
We are not sure if this commercial would be allowed in some countries because of its setting and illegal-looking thumbs operation. Still we admit it's an ad like no other and will make the people think about it, which is the goal, after all.
The official presentation will take place a day before the MWC in Barcelona - on 13 February. We'll be there to play with it and you'd be the first to know what the feeling is.
Thanks to DFT and the guys at XDA Develpoers the HD2 users finally have windows phone 7, well most of it. By this method you will not be able to use your SD card while running windows 7 and also after reverting back to windows 6.5, but you can format it using a partition software.
Installing Windows 7 on HD2:

Procedure:
Make sure that your phone has HardSPlDownload the above .zip file and then unzip it at a place where you can use it easilyFirst open MAGLDR 1.12 folder and then run Romupdateutility.exe and then follow the prompts which will reboot your HD2 and then will show the MAGLDR screen where you have to select option 5 by pressing volume down button and then selecting call button to select the 5th option which is USb FlasherThen on the PC go to the LEO70_rom folder and then run DWI and follow the prompts.Wait for sometime and Wndows Phone 7 will load
